I usually don’t get sunburned, but luckily, I had this on hand when I did. I applied it every day after showering and saw a significant difference in my peeling and the way my skin healed afterwards. I would highly highly recommend this for anyone prone to sunburning or anyone who needs after sun care!!!

I recently tried the Dune Suncare Lifeguard, and it immediately became a must-have product. The texture is thin and gel-like, with a very pale green hue, and absorbs easily into the skin, with an immediate cooling effect (as well as moisturizing!!!). The dry-down is nice—not sticky, maybe a little bit tacky, but definitely wouldn’t run the risk of getting on clothes, hair, etc if they came into contact. It does not pill. It says it’s unscented in the description, but I am getting a (very) mild minty fragrance from it, although I don’t think that would bother anyone unless they were incredibly sensitive. It’s AMAZING for irritated skin, though. It’s winter right now and I do wear sunscreen, so full disclosure—I haven’t tried it over a full-on sunburn, but it does work well for rashes, eczema, dryness, and irritation. I’m planning to keep a mini in my bag at all times now, just in case :)

I am someone with very fair skin and prone to burning. Even with frequent sunscreen application, I am bound to miss a spot! This is very lightweight but moisturizing. I feel like my skin actually absorbs it instead of the product just sitting on top of my skin like other after sun gels. The gel has a cooling sensation which soothes the heat that radiates from a sunburn. I wish I knew about this last summer. I will be packing this in my bags for vacation.
